Meet Murray, an Amazon double yellow head parrot. Double yellow heads are known to be one of the most talkative breeds of bird. Murray has a talent for entertaining and will sing and dance to most any song. At a young 3 years old, Murray is talking in complete sentences. Murray is one of the family pets at DK-Publishers.

Murray, and his trainer Deborah, live in Jacksonville, Florida, where much time is spent training Murray, and his good friend Lucky Bud Roc, American Pit Bull terrier. The more time spent with a double yellow head parrot the more they will bond with their trainer and the more words and phrases they will be able to learn. Amazon double yellow head parrots can talk amazingly well and also dance just as well.

A person must be able to dedicate a good portion of their time to a double yellow head parrot, if they desire to own one, as double yellow head parrots require a family/social life. Multiple repetitions are necessary to teach a double yellow head parrot words and phrases. Bird trainers spend years bird training their double yellow head parrots to be stars.
